Good Afternoon Inmates...

I feel the need to send you all a message about last Saturday night in Twin Falls...I was very proud to be your fearless leader..

I watched a great race that had a little of everything...awesome story line about a 15 year old kid from my old stomping grounds of Clear Lake in Norhern CA...I ski raced on that lake as a kid...so that was cool..

Had Bruce Quale destroying a motor just days before the event and working very hard to get another car together...he was dead slow on Friday night practice...but competed hard on Saturday...

Steve Jones just off his game a bit with new chassis setup...

John Newhouse giving it everything he had early and the car went south on him...

Tom Gabel bringing two great guys with him from Red Bluff, CA...David Braund and Steven Gannon will be a great addition...the results may have been different if Gannon had not lost all the shims in his left front upper control arm, which slowed him from winning the first race for Gabel as a car owner in this series...

John Nesmith with a seldom seen smile after the main with his third place finish...he was pretty happy all in all...

Travis Monett making the car better than I've seen it in a long time...

Young Project Filter protege Tyler Bailey fighting some handling gremlins...but his crew chief Dad is gaining knowledge that will be invaluable and eventually put his son in winners circle...

These are just a few of the hightlights the other night..it was awesome..yeah, we were down on cars..no doubt...but it's nights like these that make other drivers want to get they're cars out...I'll tell you why..

We started 12 cars and we finished 12 cars..That's what we like to see...and the crowd was on they're feet in the closing laps...and 90% of them went to the pits to see they're favorite drivers...

Great job to my crew also...for the first time in nine seasons...I didn't even wear a radio...I helped announce the show..which was fun...

So thanks again...

To all my trusted competitors…

The time is quickly upon us…the vibration of the motor..the sweet smell of race fuel..the rapid response when you quickly jab the throttle…your driving suit and underwear are  clean…the helmet doesn’t smell like your gym bag..the paint on the car still smells fresh..the trailer is somewhat organized..yes…it must be close to the first race..

So…are ya ready??? I sure hope so..because we are..this first event is important to the rest of the season..and I urge you to try and make it…It kind of sets the tone..

So I have had several calls about tires and I expect them this next Tuesday or Wednesday…I wait as long as I can because I have to write the big check about four hours after they arrive..haha..pretty much the truth.. I will put out another email the minute they arrive..

I have held the price on the tires for four seasons…and every year they increase the price to me…this year I have to increase it a little because of the obvious..the tires are related to oil..and we know the story there..I am waiting to see what exact cost is…but I will hold it to a minimum, I promise.

If you haven’t registered yet…please get that done…I don’t want to mess with it at the first event…and remember I threatened you with a cost of 150.00 at the event..so get on it..If you have lost the forms..I can email them to you…so let me know..

My group is excited…we have met a couple times and we are ready for winter to be over..as I’m sure you are..so lets get on it and make a great show come April 21st at Magic Valley Speedway…
Any questions..you know the drill..

Fearless Leader
